General FAQs
What is SiSTEM and how does it help students succeed in school?
SiSTEM is a personalized education and career planning platform that helps students from middle school through early career build clear academic and career roadmaps. We combine expert tutoring, live bootcamps, and AI-powered guidance to support every step of the academic and career journey.
Who is SiSTEM for?
We primarily serve parents of middle and high school students who want structured, expert-backed support to help their child succeed in school and prepare for their future. We also support international students, transfer students, and families navigating private school or college admissions.
What makes SiSTEM different from traditional tutoring or college counseling?
SiSTEM combines AI tools with human coaching for a more modern, efficient, and affordable way to plan for success. Our Guided Roadmap Plan offers monthly check-ins, dynamic milestone tracking, expert support, and discounted add-ons like tutoring and bootcamps all in one place. Think of us as your private academic strategy team.
Is SiSTEM only for students struggling in school?
No. SiSTEM helps all students, rom those who are behind to those who are advanced, gifted, or preparing for competitive college programs. Whether you're struggling with Algebra or trying to build a resume for MIT, we meet you where you are.
How do I get started with SiSTEM?
Start by getting a free AI-generated roadmap or booking a free call. From there, you can add on tutoring, bootcamps, or upgrade to our guided plan for full support.
Is SiSTEM accredited?
While we are not an accredited school, our coaches are certified college and career counselors, and our programs are designed to complement, not replace your child’s school experience.
Roadmap Planning FAQs
What is a roadmap and why does my child need one?
A roadmap is a customized academic and career action plan tailored to your student’s goals, school context, and future aspirations. It outlines courses, extracurriculars, programs, and deadlines by removing confusion and building confidence.
What’s the difference between the Free and Guided Roadmap Plans?
The Free Roadmap is a one-time, AI-generated PDF with basic recommendations. The Guided Roadmap is a premium monthly plan that includes live coaching, dynamic monthly updates, milestone tracking, and priority access to tutors skills-based courses and bootcamps.
Can I change or update the roadmap over time?
Yes! Guided Roadmap users receive monthly roadmap updates based on progress, goal shifts, or school changes. We adjust as your child’s needs evolve.
How is the roadmap delivered and tracked?
Each student receives their own dashboard hosted on our website, which includes a personalized roadmap, progress tracking, templates, and milestone flags. Parents receive updates and access as well.
Who builds and reviews the roadmaps?
Roadmaps are first generated by our AI tool (STEMMIE), then reviewed and personalized by certified college and career counselors before being shared with families.

Hello y'all. I am a one of the Sistem Tutoring tutors. I love tutoring, specifically middle school to college level Biology, Chemistry, and 9th grade Algebra. I've been tutoring since 2018 whenever I have some time between my school projects. At the moment I am in medical school at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley so that I can be a doctor in about 2 years. Before this, I graduated with my bachelor's in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. This year I have more time than normal, so I am taking advantage to have fun and tutor more students! I hope to see y'all soon in my class, and if you need me to tutor you in Spanish I can tutor all my subjects in Spanish as well.

I am a trained Musician, Martial Artist, and STEM Educator. I have a bachelor's degree in:
- Major: Music Performance
- Concentration: Education
- Minor: STEM
- Concentration: Calculus and Physics
With my diverse upbringing, I try to create at least 3 different ways of teaching the same topic; Intuitvely, Analytically, and/or Visually. If a student still does not understand the material, I dissect their preferred learning style and build the lesson on the student's foundation. This can take from minutes to entire sessions (depending on the student) to figure out but, I WILL figure them out nonetheless.
I pride myself on availability. If a student needs to ask a simple question, I prefer to have them (or their guardian) text and/or email me directly as to increase efficiency and ease for everyone.
I look forward to helping you!
